Solar and wind power innovator VentaVolt will be showcasing its brand-new, renewables-driven, off-grid streetlight ReLuminate at Futurebuild 2025, aligning perfectly with this year’s show theme ‘Impact’, by offering a revolutionary approach to sustainable lighting through cutting-edge technology and eco-friendly design.
ReLuminate is engineered to provide reliable, sustainable illumination across a range of temporary and permanent applications by harnessing both solar and wind power. This dual-energy capability ensures impressive lighting performance of the 20W luminaire through the year.
The product’s carefully engineered design further sets it apart. Each ReLuminate unit delivers an impressive lighting spread of 500m², efficiently illuminating large areas with fewer installations. Its modular and mobile construction means it can be relocated easily without the need for groundworks, providing flexibility as project requirements evolve. Additionally, ReLuminate’s sustainable construction features eco-friendly materials and supports biodiversity, with low insect attraction rates and wildlife-friendly lighting options that minimise ecological impact. The advanced light-head reduces light pollution outside the area of focus, ensuring precision while minimising unnecessary glare and skyglow.
Beyond its practical capabilities, ReLuminate offers significant operational benefits. A recent cost and carbon-reduction analysis of a 4000m2 lighting installation showed that over a 10-year period, it would achieve cost savings of approximately £20,400 compared to traditional wired lighting systems, offering a compelling return on investment. Its environmental benefits are equally impressive, with the system eliminating reliance on fossil fuels and reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 11.5 tonnes in a decade, making a persuasive commercial argument for meeting sustainability goals with the help of off-grid streetlights.
